GRADUATE AFFAIRS
The department of Graduate Affairs provides extensive information to guide 3rd and 4th year AUA students through the residency Match process each year. The department helps students understand and prepare for the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP), the Canadian Resident Matching Service (CaRMS), and other matching services as well as ERAS® – the Electronic Residency Application Service.
Graduate Affairs’ Blackboard page contains a wealth of information including the Residency Preparation Manual and several breakout guides that will help Match applicants with particular aspects of the Match process, such as writing personal statements for residency and advice for going on interviews.
The department also provides guidance and assistance with state licensing for residency, and with licensure for post-residency applicants. For all licensing requests, issues and questions, please utilize the dedicated email address: [email protected].
Additionally, post-residency graduates can contact the department of Graduate Affairs for information regarding fellowship applications.
